Youth will need to bring the following each week:
- Laptop
Robot Parts
Provided Parts
This list is not complete yet and will be modified based on what project we decided on during the Intro Meeting.
- Arduino Uno or ESP32
- 2 DC motors
- H-bridge
- Wheels
- Rolling Ball Transfer Wheel
- Breadboard
- Jumper wires
- Ultrasonic Sensors
- Line Sensors
- 9V Battery

Optional Parts
What is used on the robot beyond the provided basics will largely be up to you! If you want to buy additional parts I will gladly help you get them connected.
Some helpful suggestions:
- Buttons
- Could be used as a start button so your robot doesn’t start running as soon as the battery is plugged in.
- Switches
- Used for on/off switch
- Switch between different modes of operation
- LEDs
- Show when different things are detected (proximity, lines, etc)
- Troubleshooting (turn the red light on when turning left and blue when turning right, so if the red light is on when turning right you know there is a problem in the code)

- 12V battery
- Will give extra power to the motors for a faster robot.
- Longer run time
Anything in an “Arduino Starter Kit” (sold in a million varieties on amazon) could be fun to work with.
